Etika Dairies Sdn Bhd was formed back in 1996 with a core objective of being a reputable condensed milk and evaporated milk manufacturer with wide distribution and sales network throughout Malaysia. Our Company is 100% owned and managed by the Malaysian. Our mission is to be one of the biggest manufacturers of condensed milk in the world with a quality product acceptable by customers at an affordable and competitive price.

Our factory is sited on an 8-acre industrial park at Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia and was completed in December 1998. The installation of a modern and fully automated sweetened condensed milk production line was commissioned in February 1999.

On 1^st March 1999, we commercially launched our Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk and Sweetened Creamer under the DAIRY CHAMP trademark brand. “DAIRY CHAMP” is now a household brand name which is readily identified by our distinctive logo of a champion’s trophy. Pack sizes available are the common 397g and 510g tin-can pack. Due to market demand, we also launched the bigger sizes 750g and 1kg tin-can pack with the objective of providing a more economical and convenient size for the bulk users like coffee shops and tea stalls.

In April 2000, we launched our DAIRY CHAMP Full Cream Milk Powder, packed in 450g and 900g aluminium foil pouch pack followed by DAIRY CHAMP High Calcium Instant Skimmed Milk Powder in similar pack sizes in June 2000. Our milk powders are specially formulated and are well received in the market place due to its creamy and aromatic flavour coupled with attractive packaging design.

In mid 2001, we introduced our Teh “TARIK CHAMP” from the 100% finest orange pekoe teas from the Valleys of Cameron Highlands, Malaysia located 5,000 feet above the sea level. The teas are selected for their character and full flavour to produce the distinctive taste of traditional highland teas. Pack sizes available are 1kg aluminium foil pouch pack, and 2kg, 5kg, 10kg plastic tub pack.

A new product, “KOPI CHAMP” Instant Coffee Powder was launched in March 2002, an aromatic instant coffee powder prepared from carefully selected 100% premium grade coffee beans for its sumptuously rich and full bodied aroma. “Kopi Champ” packed in 180g aluminium foil pouch pack was an instant hit with the coffee shop due to its premium quality at a very attractive price.

Today, we are a big and growing organisation with more than 260 personnel in sales and marketing, production, R & D, engineering, human resources, finance and administration departments. Beside the factory and main office located in Klang, we have sales offices and warehousing located in Sungei Petani, Alor Setar, Penang, Ipoh, Seremban, Malacca, Batu Pahat, Johor Bahru, Mentakab, Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu. Our export sales encompasses 30% of our turnover is spread to all over the world, mainly to the ASEAN region and extended to East and West Africa, Central and South America, Middle-East and other Asia-Pacific countries. We plan to penetrate into the China and Hong Kong markets and expand our sales growth in Indonesia.

We are now proud to proclaim that we are the Number 2 producer of Sweetened Creamer in Malaysia. We are confident that we can maintain the Number 2 position as we have a quality product accepted by all our loyal customers. We will strive harder and focus our aim to be the “Numero Uno” in this market segment in the future.

Milestone Achievements

1999

• Launched “DAIRY CHAMP” Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk and Sweetened Creamer.

2000

• Launched “DAIRY CHAMP” Full Cream Milk Powder, packed in 450g and 900g aluminium foil pouch pack

• Launched “DAIRY CHAMP” High Calcium Instant Skimmed Milk Powder in 450g and 900g aluminium foil pouch pack

• Installed a repacking facility to complement our manufacturing business to handle the process of repacking skimmed milk powder, coffee powder and tea dust.

• Entered an OEM arrangement to co-pack Sweetened Condensed Milk with Carrefour under their in-house “1” brand.

2001

• Introduced “THE TARIK CHAMP”, a 100% pure tea dust packed in 1kg aluminium foil pouch pack, 2kg plastic tub pack, 5kg plastic tub pack and 10kg plastic tub pack.

• Exported products to Cambodia, Philippines, Angola and Taiwan.

2002

• Launched “KOPI CHAMP” Instant Coffee Powder, distributed in 180g aluminium foil pouch pack and an instant hit with the coffee shops throughout Malaysia.

• Exporting to Iran, Singapore, New Zealand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malawi, and West Africa.

• Entered into an arrangement to retail our “DAIRY CHAMP” products with the Makro chain of hypermarkets.

2003

• Exported to countries in West Africa (Gambia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Cape Verde, Ghana, Ivory Coast) and Middle Eastern country of Iran.

• Entered an OEM arrangement to co-pack sweetened condensed milk with Giant hypermarket under their in-house “Giant” brand.

2004

• Exported to the West African countries of Guinea, Senagal, Mali and Liberia and to other countries such as Suriname, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Cuba, Panama, Togo and Trinidad.
• Commissioned our own evaporated milk manufacturing facilities to produce “DAIRY CHAMP” Evaporated Filled Milk and “DAIRY CHAMP” Evaporated Creamer.
