CRUMPETS

  1. Combine flour, salt and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat together the eggs, DAIRY CHAMP EVAPORATED CREAMER and water.
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour in the egg mixture and combine using a wooden spoon.
  4. Melt the butter and stir into the mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 30 mins. This allows the mixture to thicken.
  5. Preheat a frying pan. Grease with oil and spoon on about 1 tbsp of batter per crumpet, allowing room for spreading.
  6. Crumpet is ready to turn when bubbles appear on the surface. Serve with butter, kaya/fresh cream/syrup or honey.

A beautiful dessert for afternoon tea or buka puasa.
