JAVANESE BEEF

Ingredients:

A

15 pcs red chilies

3 stalks lemon grass

200g shallots

50g garlic

20g cekur

4 - 5 slices galangal

1/2 pc belacan

(blend all above items coarsely)

 

Methods:

  1. Boil beef with water till quite tender. Allow to cool.
  2. Slice cooked beef into thin slices. Season with turmeric powder and light soy sauce for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat enough oil and deep fry beef, a few pieces at a time. Drain.
  4. With enough oil, fragrant (A). Add in onion together with DAIRY CHAMP EVAPORATED CREAMER, DAIRY CHAMP SWEETENED CREAMER and salt & pepper.
  5. Continue to stir fry till quite dry.
  6. Stir in beef till well coated.
  7. Serve well with Pita Bread and Salad.
